◆ Welding of dissimilar metals (Al,Ti,Fe,Mg) 
◆ Understanding relationships between microstructure

and properties in welds; 
◆ Understanding the effects of welding on the microstructure

of metals through the use of TEM, EBSD,SEM,XRD,FIB and EDS.
